Had a surprising dinner with my dad's boss last weekend. Surprising because it never happen before and it was sort of last minute. I decided to tag along despite the flu and cough because the boss was treating and it was Turkish food. I never had anything Turkish before, so, this was definitely the first for me. Oh, my dad's boss's a Turkish. Explains a lot isn't it? According to him, this place is the only authentic Turkish restaurant he could find. It was nice to have try something different from my usual nasi lemak and char kuey teow. I would recommend if you haven't experience Turkish delicacies before but personally, i wouldn't go back. Way too pricey as well as, some things are just meant for one time only. This is no exception.

Pasta day

Was feeling obsessionally chef-ish today. Couldn't resist myself from doing something practical for the past few days. Yesterday, i just drew finish my craft set idea (that i've put on hold since last year). I've always love making crafts like origami(s) and fancy artwork but never had enough $$$ to buy the materials. So, i usually just jot down my ideas somewhere and wait for a fortune to one day drop onto my lap or something. Maybe not. Anyways, today i made myself lunch, something i rarely do. Normally, it would just be junk food or an empty stomach for lunch. I can't help but think this whole i-can't-sit-down-and-do-nothing hyper-activeness has something to do with the exercise routine i've been struggling working on (2nd week now!). I have to admit, it wasn't as easy keeping up with it. It takes a hell lot more of will power to wake up at 7am almost everyday. Couple of times, i literally switch off my phone to stop it from ringing - sub-consciously!!! As in i was still asleep but my brain sort of made its way to my hands to find the 'off' button on my phone. Creepy. But all in all, since i didn't weight myself to see any weight loss (or gain... because i still eat tons of junk food), all i know is, i'm liking the results so far - emotional and mental wise. Looks like all the Biggest Loser success story is true after all. Although i must point out, by evening time, i feel totally exhausted and shuts down immediately after my head hits the pillow.

Insomnia people, a good tip for you perhaps?

Oh, today's such a beautiful day isn't it? No rain . Just sunny sun and cool air.  : )

Happy December everyone...

Wondermilk

Hello pretty and "hunky" readers!

Had a little trouble switching on my trustee laptop today and it got me all frustrated that i almost give up. Nevertheless, here are some pictures i took during my date with the awesome girlfriends. It feels like we now make more of an effort to meet-up and hang-out, compared to previously where i had one month long holiday and only meet up with my bestfriend once.

We went to this local cupcake cafe to hang which we threesome love a lot, for its ambiance and of course, cupcakes. I personally think that their cupcakes are the best (although pricey) I've tasted so far. Not perfect but definitely one of my favourites.

Facebook destroys physical communication.
2's gone! Saving the best for last???
The day we went Wondermilk Cuppacakes, they had a photoshoot there. Great to see my industry in action. ;D
Their lunchboxes are sooohhh cute!
Love the table set-up. So Alice in Wonderland feel, right? Where's Mr. Hatter?
Forget the cupcakes! Next time i come here, i'll get their Sloppy Joe and Smores!
I see rainbow cakes all over my Tumblr, FINALLY! I get to see a real one and photograph it as well!
I ♥ MACAROONS! I'll make it one day.

Love you girls. See you this Thursday! HARRY POTTER FINALE!!!!! Yes, i blog, i eat cupcakes, i (want to) bake macaroons, and i read & watch Harry Potter. So sue me. L.O.L. Can't believe i was 11 when the first film came out; and 8 or 9 when i had the first book. Time flies.

Bye~.

Dum-dum sushi

I love sushi. And that is a fact. I remember queuing for almost half an hour for it. Just think of the satisfying burp of approval in the end - it's worth it. Honestly, i am not much of a fan of raw food. I hardly touch raw vegetables and i never order sashimi (raw fish) at the restaurant. I hate the fishy tangy taste of it. Weird coming from someone who claims to love sushi? Yeah, i thought so too. Same thing how i love pizza but dislike cheese. Anyway, these photos were from my sis's birthday dinner. I think she's forgotten about these pictures - otherwise she would have chase the hell out of me to upload them. Didn't take much pictures that night. My interest was on something else quite obvious.

Here are the rest. ( :

Ok. Gonna shower and pack my bag for class tomorrow (after this Glee episode first. how nice if there was a TV in the bathroom huh?).

P.S.: Oh! Known as the photography newbie, this was the very few rare occasions where i used manual focusing. My apologies if some are out of focus.

Notorious hello

Yay! It's my first post in year 2011! Ok, probably nothing exciting about that. I was spending my free time today reading my favourite blogs. Most of them started with "Happy New Year" or "It's my first post in the new year!". So, i thought maybe i should do that too. Cliche? Yeah, kinda.

Anyway, it's raining outside. I can hear the rain and wind hitting the glass window. It's basically dark in my room right now, so i can hardly see the letters on my laptop. Lazy to get up from my comfy spot on my bed to turn on the lights. Someone should really invent backlights for keyboards (I heard MacBook has something like that).

Yesterday was short but quite satisfying. Dinner was great with bestie Mun, Lavinia, and Mun's bf, Wayne. The only regret i had yesterday was not being able to stay for the countdown and fireworks. What other way to feel the utter excitement of a new year?

Lotsa Lava!!! Haha. Inside joke.

Looking at this picture made me realize we haven't been taking pictures together lately.

This pretty much sums up our day.
Curve flea market!

From the pictures, you can make out where we went for dinner -Bubba Gump @ Curve.

Didn't edit the pictures. I think it's best to leave it wholesome, real and original. Or rather, i ran out of ideas how i should edit them.
