Day 7

Day 7 - Scattered

Scattered. This shot was taken on the 6th floor of Pavilion KL. Everyone looked like tiny ants without my zoom lens. With many of them busy taking pictures next to the United Buddy Bears, I seized this shot instead. KL being the busy city, 'scattered' is definitely one of the many phrase to describe it. Indeed it is black and white again because i love how different a story can be told without the interference of colour. Like Karl Heiner used to say, "Life is like a good black and white photograph..."

Day 5

Day 5 - Sweet dreams

Sweet dreams. Before i can immerse myself into deep, sound sleep or to my wonderful land on cloudnine, i always have the habit of reading a book first. I can't remember when this so-called "habit" began, but ever since then, i can never sleep soundly without a chapter or two beforehand. Some may say it's a bad habit because it keeps your mind racing, but i say, BRING ON THE STORIES! Of course i won't say it's an effective way to fall asleep, unless it's a history book. I have, as a matter of fact broken my record of sleeping at 4am reading a book without feeling an inch tired. The culprit? The Hunger Games. (My current obsession) Gawd, i love that book. With all the hecticness during the day, a book (to me) is a great way to drift away to a more subtle and calmer 'imaginative world'. With that, comes (often enough) a sweet dream.

Day 3

Day 3 - Fly

Fly. Really confused over this one. Does it mean the insect or the action of flying? I decided to keep it metaphoric. Here's a shot i took just yesterday in Malacca. It's pretty scary just by staring at those big eyes but i find it hard to take it seriously when it is literally sticking his tongue out at me. Almost laugh-like. Dragons are mystical creatures that many people (mostly Chinese) believe to be powerful, strong, symbolizes good luck and they can, well.... fly. This year, the dragon year, i foresee many great events, including my status of becoming an aunt. A dragon baby. :)

Chinese New Year

P1010741

A new year it is (in the chinese calendar). Nothing too exciting happened in the first few days. Everything was quite... normal per se. The weather was even more upsetting. Rain. Sometimes in the morning, sometimes in the afternoon, and sometimes at night. Never at the same time.

I foresee the year being much more joyous this time around. I'm finally going to be an aunt! (i think my first time announcing here and another baby cousin bro is along the way too!) And hopefully*, a little travelling by the end of the year. Very nervous to see what's ahead but like every thing else in life, i'm taking it one step at a time.

Cheers!

Sépia

I wish i lived in a cafe - where i can get all my favourite food at anytime of the day. Don't you? Coming from someone who doesn't have the privilege of eating home cook meal everyday, i relish the idea of having someone cook for me everyday (besides the 'chap fun' lady i tapau from every other day). Marry a chef i must! (Hahaha.. shhh!) The weekend's almost coming to an end but good news, it's a public holiday tomorrow for Selangor-ians! Happy birthday to our Sultan. Anyway, the weekend has been rather fulfilling. Date-d with the parents. Their way of compensating their promised-holiday to me. :( Not what i had in mind but spending time with the folks is always a good way to spend a long weekend. Next week's gonna be busy! Welcoming new students gonna be tiring as i last remembered.

Cheers!

Quatre-vingts

October's almost ending and can you believe that there's only 61 more days for 2011? It's really unbelievable. I can hardly even believe it myself. The question now is, do you think we'll make it to 2012? Yes. No. Maybe.

Well, it's terrifying knowing life or worst, human race is about to end. Like how dinosaurs went *poof*.

To me, whether i die or survive from this crap (yes, i personally think 2012 is crap), i'm excited to be able to live till that day and actually witness all of it.

I don't think that the world's going to end. I simply think it is a new beginning.

Anyway...

Till then, i still have that essay due next week to finish up.

Bye.

Those ugly toes.

Happy Nov-in advanced!

Shades

Migraine are such party-poopers. They come. They concur. They make you feel dead. And they leave you in a miserable physical and mental state of exhaustion. Honestly (and i am not exaggerating), migraine is like a running-trendmill implanted in the brain. For those lucky ones who (i envy you) have not experience migraine before, your head'll be pounding in pain, you'll feel tired, and all you want to do is lie down and sleep as long as your body (or your mom) lets you. I only wish some doctor or a scientist find a cure for this human "pest" - FAST. And for cancer too of course. Once heard someone said, "Hope cancer gets cancer and dies." L.O.L.

Well, my eyes are twitching and my head feels like an overworked machine jerking in my skull. Gonna rest now. I know migraine is all about relaxing and not stressing. So, what do you guys do to relax? I need a remedy. Tweet me up or comment below. : )

xoxo always~

Red code

Image credited to Yvonne.
I'm in love with the colour red. Besides the fact that my nails are red now; red car, red hair, red shoe, red lips, red everything, i absolutely adore! Yes, my current craze is definitely a bold, fiery, and sexayyyyyy..... statement!

It's good to be back here, rambling bout' random things again. Done with my current semester, and i couldn't be happier. Things have been hactic-ier than i expected. ("Hactic-ier", is that even a word?) Lecturers are crazy with assessments after assessments like as if, printing and paper doesn't cost a cent. And you may think paying a price of a "down payment house loan" for a degree program was only it. Wait till you see how much an average student spend on assignment printing. Well, no one said degree was easy, or cheap!

Putting that behind me now, i'm focusing on spending one-hack of a holiday. Whatever it may be, sleeping till the afternoon, living up to my name-badge my bestie got me - "couch potato", or just lying on the floor staring at the fan going round and round; i'm definitely putting my brain to rest, not rust, just rest. : )

The past months has been tiresome, yet awesome. My sister's finally married! (Woohoo to that - more man-candy for me to look at. Hahaha.) I can't believe a year-planning, whooshes past in ONE day! Aside from that and the fact that i was so "fortunate" to breathe 4 a.m. air on a Saturday morning, everything else has been crazy (in a good way) and amazing. Things when off as planned. Food was great. Laughter was irreplaceable. Sister was beautiful (as always). New-gained brother was handsome (*cough*). And sharing it with family and friends was just another icing-on-a-cake.

The "couple".

I'm posting up more pictures than usual to make up for the month long lack-of-updates. Sorry...:-
My storyboard. Featuring bff and her BF.

What more can i ask for? 2011 has definitely been good to me... and my family.

Eggs and Flour

I saw this guy making "roti canai" at Asia Cafe, Subang.
"Roti canai" is an Indian delicacy that is like a tortilla bread or pancake.
